We tried shaking and cooking, there was no reaction, gas formation was positive. Any chance of no reaction due to lithium? phone battery has ammonium sulfate + sodium hydroxide + ether + lithium = plenty of gas and more swelling no discoloration no gold bronze disintegration

I read an article long ago that outlined a method to use Li-Ion batteries but it requires additional reactions that eventually yield (if I recall correctly) lithium chloride, not elemental lithium. There's also the very real danger of injury from the batteries catching fire.

metuxNitrate is hard to get in some places and cold packs have almost all switched over to urea now. Sulphate is fine

Urea granules works,from cold pack,but yield is shit,and reaction its very slow, pressure also stops reaction.Anyways not worth,you spend more then you made.Forget,swich to p2.

My friend use Reciprocating Saw,with atached shampane bottle, for good mixing and long electric cable for safety (and distance) with pressure gauge on top,i think pressure reach max 1.5bar, botlle can hold easy 6bars so expected to not release gases,but when reaction reach 1,5bars bubbling stops,and reaction stops also,so if pressure to high, reaction stops,and no matter how strong you shake the boottle.Reaction needs a bit water every time to get rolling.

the reaction was successful, after the bronze and gold pieces we added ephedrine, it turned to milk consistency, filtered separate layers, poured it into 100 ml ether, closed its mouth, rested it, then gassed it with hcl gas, it didn't snow.

You did not leave the ephedrine in solution long enough. A few things must happen for this reaction to be successful. #1 is free'd electrons from dissolved lithium need to be formed to reduce the ephedrine, the ephedrine must be based before it is soluble in the non polar solvent so that it can be reduced by the electrons.
