How many grams do we get as a final product

Depends on the bark potency and the extraction efficiency.
Mimosa hostilis and Acacia confusa both yield like 1-3% but the acacia needs to be cleaned a little there is a little bit of plant fats....
Also I read in an old issue of ER that some basic bark solution was left in the garage for several months and then a couple pulls were done with a huge yield!

I am speaking from India and Naphtha is not available in my country
I have seen your video on DMT in which Naphtha has been used
So can we use any other chemical in place of this?
Petroleum ethanol was used but it did not do anything.

Petroleum ether and white spirit also can be used, I guess.

Out of curiosity being the YEILD is what 1.3% so with 2kgs MHRB using distilled white vinegar, crook pot, lye, Naptha, pull and freeze then liqiod it thru sodium carbate should produce what like almost 30g? 30g at 70 a gram 2100 hmm not too bad to fund another project

• The ratio of 1:1.5 (bark:acid) is a good starting point, but ensure there's a slurry, not a dry mix.

2. Heated Agitation (First Pull):

• Securely place the vessel on the stirrer/hotplate.
• Begin vigorous mechanical stirring to ensure all plant material is suspended and circulating.
• Gently apply heat until the mixture stabilizes at 50°C (± 2°C). risk of thermal degradation.
• Maintain this temperature with constant agitation for 2 hours.

3. Filtration (First Pull):

• Set up the Büchner funnel with filter paper. Turn on the vacuum pump.
• Carefully pour the hot mixture into the funnel. The vacuum will rapidly pull the acidic solution (now containing the alkaloid salts) through, leaving the spent plant material (the "marc") behind.
• Collect the filtrate in the filter flask. This is your "First Acid Pull." Label it clearly.
• Return the damp plant material from the funnel back to the primary extraction vessel.

4. Second Pull:

• Add another X of fresh 5% acetic acid to the plant material in the vessel.
• Repeat Step 2 and Step 3 exactly: heat to 50°C, agitate for 2 hours, and vacuum filter.
• Collect this as your "Second Acid Pull." Combine it with the first pull.

5. Optional Third Pull (For Maximum Yield):

• For research purposes aiming for total alkaloid quantification, a third pull is advisable.
• Repeat the process a third time. Combine the filtrate with the first two pulls. This combined solution is your "Total Acidic Extract."

1. After Basification: Ensure your aqueous solution is at pH >12.
2. Add Solvent: Add a volume of n-hexane equal to about 1/3 the volume of your basic water solution.
3. Agitate Gently: Seal the vessel and gently shake or stir for several minutes. Vent frequently to release pressure.
4. Separate: Let the layers settle completely. The n-hexane (top layer) is now rich with DMT. Carefully separate the hexane layer from the basic water layer.
5. Repeat: Perform this "pull" 3-4 times with fresh n-hexane to ensure complete extraction.
6. Evaporate: Combine the hexane pulls and evaporate the solvent in a fume hood. Beautiful DMT crystals should form.

The solvent selected for this step was a commercial aliphatic hydrocarbon mixture (e.g., Fuelite product or equivalent), characterized by the following approximate composition by weight:

• Heptane and isomers: 35-55%
• Cyclohexane: 25-35%
• Methylcyclohexane: <15%
• n-Hexane: <10%
