they are not the same product. Both. Tails operating system runs on the tor network, but you could get on Tor with windows mac linux insteasd of tails which is probaably linux.

Tails is Linux. And is safer than tor, especially with the amnesic part of tails, when the USB stuck leaves the laptop, so does the info

Tails is just super handy. It fits in your pocket and just pull it out of the machine and it's like you weren't using it
