This is an effective method. I irradiate at maximum power in short time intervals so that the mixture does not have time to boil.

that is the key, stopping the irradiation just prior or as soon as you see 1 tiny bubble rise up, did this method with very good success, simple but very effective. would be very interested if there's other synths that can be done using the microwave??

Stop when strong boiling begins. Yes, this is visible by bubbles. There are many different syntheses with MW, there are also on the forum. I think that ultrasound for p2np should also work well.

With benzaldehyde and nitroethane ---> P2NP

If you have no ability to freeze precipitate the p2np, can u separate the alcohol layer and evaporate solvent or acid extract ?

Why so ? Evaporation or acid precipitation could make this process 12 hours shorter, cost a little more, but faster. It is doable correct ? Evan to p2np oil or acidify to salt form ? Idk chemistry in that much detail, but I would assume it is somehow doable

"p2np oil or acidify to salt" - p2np can't be forming the stable salts, this is nonsense (we do not consider anion salts in this case)

1. p2np decompose upon overheating
2. In the presence of base or acid, this instability is amplified: base may trigger Michael-type polycondensation, while acid can cause isomerization or hydrolysis
