Hello friends, thanks for the contribution, it works very well but I have a doubt, when crystallizing (crystals precipitate very very well) I do not get crystals like the typical ones of mdma, it is something more similar to snowflakes, to ice frost in a glass on a snowy day, it is glass but very fragile. Hi, you are welcome! Do you use a fridge for the crystallization procedure? The faster cooling down, the smaller crystals.

Yes, of course, first I leave it out until it is at room temperature, then 15 or 20% has already crystallized, then I put it in the refrigerator for 2 hours and then in the freezer for 3 hours. Almost 100% of the washed product crystallizes, but the crystals are very fragile, when handled for packaging they turn into sand

I did IPA a few times, and I guess this "sand" crystal style is a natural property of IPA crystallization. Try to recrystallize it in water to obtain big rock crystals.

What I noticed, IPA is good to remove sticky black compound, side product of synth.

Large crystals are obtained with the inclusion of a water molecule. Therefore, sometimes it is better to use aq. HCl acid or add water additionally. You must begin crystallization at room temperature so that the process does not begin quickly. If you show a photo of your crystals, maybe I will tell you that you can change for this and get it in a larger size.

I read heat makes it brown in here,
I had some issues with the hobby project. The sirup smelled like methylamine in the glass tray and im afraid there might be some methylamine hcl in the end product. Either way this looks fucked up and it looks like it doesnt want to dry any further. Acetone wash just usually turns it into a black tar. Have to say i forgot to dry it does the 4% aq make a bid difference?

This is what i managed to scrape together and kind of dry out. It tastes more salty than bitter. I dont know how methylamine hcl tastes but drying in the oven doesn't make it appear dryer. Its more tarlike than anything else. I'm ready to give up and just flush it. I did manage to get a whiter one with acetone wash but it has the same non bitter taste. Slightly salty. Could other salts have formed in the process? Maybe the aq layer was pipetted up aswell, in that case it might contain trace amounts of mercury?

Have you dried this in an oven? At what temp? I assume, there are not a lot of MDMA in this "product".

105 Celcius. I did manage to get a few gr of good stuff out it before with acetone washes it yielded only a few gr. Thanks for confirming to toss it than i stop wasting and experimenting on it. To be honest the taste test did not pass and it tasted salty and slightly metallic. It didnt want to dry or crash i will simply dump it. Thanks for the fast reply.
