Methcathinone from Propiophenone.

Hi, I have access to Propiophenone, so I was thinking about Methcathinone.


My question is:

If I will swap 4-Methylpropiophenone to Propiophenone in this recipe: https://bbgate.com/threads/4-mmc-mephedrone-synthesis-bromination-in-dichlormethane.227/ and I will do everything like in this recipe, then at the end I will get Methcathinone, or I need to change something?

With ordinary propiophenone, nucleophilic substitution takes longer and is more difficult, and there will also be more impurities in the output. Or it is necessary to use non-trivial ways to prevent side reactions.
