Meth for a complete beginner

It'll be my first time attempting this and it honestly scary, my knowledge on chemistry is little to none and I'm still not sure on which recipe to use, I'd really appreciate help in three topics:

- General Chemistry, I don't know of books or videos that could help me as I am not one to usually delve into chemistry, so anything for starters would be great, I can't even begin to understand how these reactions produce these results and which chemicals I can replace with others or synth myself...

- Meth recipe, I first considered using Ephedrine extracted from pills for it(http://bbzzzsvqcrqtki6umym6itiixfhn...hesis-from-ephedrine-or-pseudoephedrine.7394/), but my intent is not to use it but rather see if it's possible to make a profit in the future(I know a few people that deal), and looking at the amount of Ephedrine needed made me give up on it, it'd cost about 20~30 bucks to get my hands on a single gram of Ephedrine(using pills, the other recipes for Ephedrine seem 100% out of my reach and completely incomprehensible.) and how would I buy hundreds of boxes of OTC drugs without raising an eyebrow?, is there another recipe which is possible for a very new(and poor) lab to do but that could also be scaled for batches ~100g in weight? is that too much?

- Chemicals and equipment, I am very weary of trusting anyone at all to sell me chemicals to make drugs, are there any chemical dealers in South America that are trustworthy?, and lastly the flasks and everything else is a bit too expensive for now, can I DIY my way to drug manufacture? are there any guides on it?

P2P meth there's a video on the website. Do your research on how to obtain the stuff needed to make P2P yourself and do it. Shakenbake, birch reduction and RED P/Iodine are all methods using ephedrine. The method with almost no equipment required is Shaknenbake. Just get a tough bottle some pfed pills, lithium batteries, methanol, starter fluid (diethyl ether), caustic soda, ammonium nitrate and some sulfuric acid (above 90%) and grow some balls to hold pressure in the bottle. That's pretty much it

For educational purposes only, and so ya don't burn the block down around you... Get a clear soda bottle, plastic with lid. Clean and dry thoroughly. Any water or moisture gets on the lithium, it's gonna be a problem. A person can take equal parts pseudo, lye, and the granulated material out of an instant cold press. Again, don't bust the water pack inside. And be sure it's ammonia nitrate. It'll tell a guy on the pouch the active stuff. A dude would put the crushed pills and the ammonia nitrate in the bottle and add a cup and a half of Coleman camp fuel, or any naptha based material, to the bottle. A dude would need a pair of pliers and a set of cutting dykes. Grip a AA lithium battery at the base with pliers and begin to peel the metal casing from around the battery. It's gonna get warm, no worries. Peel it down half way and then using your fingers pull the roll of plastic from inside and unroll it. There will be two layers of plastic covered dark material sorta like metal, and another thin piece in the center that's getting darker and warm. That middle piece is the lithium. Tear it into 1" pieces and put into the bottle. Quickly. A man will wanna do one battery per box. Add the lye last and replace the cap snuggly. Not over tight. Then Begin to shake. Depending on conditions it could begin to react immediately, or it could take some time. The bottle will get warm and full of gasses. When it feels like it's about to burst, loosen the cap gently and slowly away from anyone's face. There will be a very strong ammonia smell that can hurt if it gets into eyes or lungs. Keep repeating, constantly shaking vigorously until it cools and doesn't have any pressure left. Decant the liquid into filters and a glass. In another room, use a 2 liter jug and wash n dry. Put a hole in the cap just large enough to force a thin tube about 2' long into it. Stick it in about an inch. Put a cup of salt in bottle, then 2 table spoons worth of sulphuric acid into bottle. Don't use a spoon... Replace lid. Fast. Smoke will begin to come from the house. Stick hose into liquid from the other bottle and swirl. When done, put contents into filter and remove the white stuff. Press with hard book or whatever, unwrap and let dry. Pour cold Ethel alcohol or acetone over it and press again. Unwrap and let dry. Done

You are probably going to need some time ( A year) before you attempt this. They used to not understand physiology So they drilled holes in peoples heads to let out the pressure. It's not very likely you will succed without knowing how it works. Just trying to save you some money/fingers

Yeah I understand I'll need to research a lot first and thank you for considering my safety, I am however at a loss on where to even begin trying to understand it, I've got no formal knowledge on chemistry and don't know where to start, plus everything here in south america is just so expensive that it's giving me cold feet by just looking at all the lab equipment. Do you have any books you could recommend for me? tutorials or videos work fine too, thank you

chemistry libre is a sight I've used to learn basic Chemistry concepts, but them are 100's of others that will teach you the same thing. when it comes to meth Specifically there are just a few basic reactions that will get you there and they have names you can look up to get a general over veiw.A reduction / oxidation reaction is 20 ways. AN Amination is another 10. A birch-like reduction and a Leuckart are extremely popular. lithium And Ammonia is a birch so is Aluminum Amalgam And phosporous / iodine or hydroiodic Acid. A few other pointers, when degassing the bottle, always hold it upright. You don't want to hold it at any angle since there is no oxygen inside of the bottle. If you see pieces of lithium igniting inside of the fuel when they touch the bottom layer that should be fine. Since there is no oxygen inside the bottle nothing can happen.
There is a video online of some dumbass government guy in a full hazmat suit blowing himself up in a driveway cuz he tipped the bottle when burping it. He let air into the reaction and gave the lithium oxygen to ignite the fuel. Hilariously stupid so called professional.
But the whole goal of it is to react (melt) the lithium with the ammonia atmosphere to form little globs of "liquid lithium" So pressure is a must. Then those globs are able to reduce the pseudo/ephedrine.
There's video of this online as well, no sound though. Just some guy chewing gum and showing all the cops how to make it. He does a pretty good job at staying cool even when it almost blows up cause he can't release the pressure. But he does and all goes fine. There's also another vid of some guy walking around in the woods doing it with VICE I think and a hilarious one of some highschool girl doing it with the reporter asking her if she would eat lithium batteries lol.
Oh and don't reuse reaction bottles. They will fail if reused. So it's best to use it once and get a new one.

Word of advice... Don't keep ANYTHING used in this method. Battery casings, bottles, hose, and don't throw that stuff in the garbage or the side of the road. When the bottle disintegrates water will enter and ignition will occur. Burn everything in a barrel or 5 gal bucket.

Being inexperienced and , forgive the phrase, ignorant of the prosses or, I assume basic chem... It would be wise for one to stick to what one has as instructions because a powder would change everything. Good rule of thumb, a bird in the hand is worth two in a bush. One will be advised to go through his experimental phase AFTER he has learned from experience.
Lol... We all have been there. Hypothetically speaking, of course.

Yeah I'll doing research first but I am trying to learn as much as possible and seeing what recipe will be feasible for me to make without exploding a clandestine lab or killing myself in the process, small steps, thanks for the advice

look for this plant, Ephedra, there are actually several species of it, many contain ephedrine, you find it in sandy places. I have found even in mountainous areas all ephedra and it contains ephedrine although it should not according to the book, the extraction is simple.
