How Look situaction with CIRRUS tabletts in EU?
I hear first step is remove shell from all tablets - hands - (more time process) in acetone, next if are dry grinding for powder, next extraction with toluene 2-3x (in toluene is of course unwanted product stopped reaction becouse hydrochloride dont disolve in toluen)- filtrate and this extract out.
Next filtrate alkalise IT for change pseudoephedrine hydrochloride to base and extraction one again (3 times minimum) with ether/toluene/etc and gassing hcl to neutral ph and for end filtrate, dryiness to get pseudoephedrine hcl ready to Next step

pdwshopnl, in general, your route of extraction looks good. Prolonged-release form - and there is a shell of tablets. Before extraction of toluene, it is necessary to dissolve everything in warm water, filter from insoluble and after already extracted with toluene.

I was talking about this same process demonstrated in this video. Like using pseudoephedrine and Red Phosphorus. Let's make two scenarios here; One, Let's say I did it perfectly and used extremely precise measures. Two, I did it first time and like my stuff( raw materials, reagents solvants) was intermediate level of purity and I did an average job. Then how much purity and yield I can achieve?

Also, in most of the videos I see that at the end of the process they call their final product ( this very same powder like product) methamphetamine hydrochloride and not ONLy Methamphetamine? Why is that so? is ice or crystal meth we usually know that it's only methamphetamine but actually it is methamphetamine hydrochloride and the word hydrochloride is just not mentioned but it is always there as silent word? Or Hydrochloride we get at the end is extracted using another process to purify the final product which is then ONLY Methamphetamine (ice, crystal meth)?

Again noone can tell you. For example, Are you new? mechanical loses happen more when you are new for example. With that again WE can't tell what you are doing red, white blue? Do you plan on making HI with PH down or similar phosphorus based fertilizers? What about phosphorus strike pads. How well did you clean it. Etc etc., did you buy it. You see we can't tell you because there are to many variables including, Over reduced or unreduced pusedo ephedrine vs the meth you want and no way to tell without a proper lab sadly

Absolutely not! 24 hours @ approximately 115 -120 C under reflux is the only way to get a complete conversion.

If I understand correctly, in early 2000s folks in the post-USSR countries used the same reaction to produce meth-HI but they didn't go through all the steps to get rid of the iodine and just injected themselves with that yellow colored solution, sometimes without even bothering with raising the ph level. I had heard some of them say that shooting up with the solution when it still has iodine gives a better rush. Must have been wild stuff to subject yourself to.

The street name of that drug was 'vint' (means 'a screw' in Russian) and although a lot of people also called it pervitin, or methamphetamine I always felt like there was a bit of confusion, because it wasn't exactly the same kind of methamphetamine that people in other countries usually referred to as crystal meth.

If I add water and hcl to acidify the free base when making a free base, separate the water layer, and completely evaporate the water, will salt appear in the end? In theory, hydrogen chloride is not needed?

Hello, yes you can. But I don't recommend you evaporate water completely because you'll get methamphetamine hydrochloride with all side products (impurities) in the dry form. Let meth crystallize.

Simply add 25g of NaOH to a beaker and add distilled water until you reach the 100ml mark. It's very exothermic, so you should first add a few grams, add some water, wait for cooling (or cool in icebath) and then add another NaOH and water until you have your 25g dissolved in water, 100ml solution total in volume.
